After playing the REAL monopoly game it seemed to be an exact mirror of society; the poor get too poor and die out, the middle class breaks even in the end or makes little headway into the upper class, and the upper class still is making more and more money. Wealth gives people a head start in life and a completely different perspective on living- the well doesn't seem like it could ever run dry. Without wealth you can not plan on being apart of upper class lifestyle. You also can't decide to become wealthy since wealth is money that is built up over time. During the "people like us" video, the trailer dump kids wanted to look nice and presentable- i saw this as being a characteristic of upper class lifestyle- he, if born in the right family, could have had a matching lifestyle to his personality, but because he wasn't he is forced to live the life he leads and he feels embarrassed. Too many people make a bigger deal about class than it should be. In the end everyone is a person and its the lifestyle that you have chosen directly or indirectly. However you as an individual have to decide if you want to set your future family up with money so that it can begin to generate some sort of wealth over the next generations. I like how social class is set up because without the poor- who do you compare the rich? and without the two extremes of rich and poor how would someone be balanced? Everyone has opportunity to climb the social ladder- its just not all equal opportunity- but hey some of it just comes down to luck and who your family is.

What a man is depends on his character; but what he does, and what
we think of what he does, depends on his circumstances. The characteristics that

I think the quote should be "who a man is..." and i also think that i would judge a person based on their character and not their circumstances. Also The characteristics that a man has does not make or break him. i think no matter your class you are supposed to find a position in society to work towards. This could be how you want your future lineage to live whether it be upper class , middle, or if you really wanted to, lower- it depends on the type of culture you like. you should have goal for a new experience and you should utilize and exploit your personal talents (characteristics of you) to get there.
I agrue that the single most useful characteristic that applies in every single class is the salesmen attitude. On a low class level you see a lot of illegal sales and everyday hustling. On the middle class level from an early age you are taught the buy/sell/trade market of poekmon and yugioh and crazy bones and all other collectibles, and the upper class level you generally just playing monopoly with your money but still all about sales.
